The Greene County Rams dropped both ends of a Heart of Iowa Activities Conference dual meet hosted by South Hamilton in Jewell Thursday.
South Hamilton topped the Rams 30-25 in the opener, snapping a Ram conference winning streak dating back to the 2010-11 season. A Ram 48-48-33 loss to North Polk followed. The losses leave the Rams at 6-9 overall and 1-2 in the conference. The Rams had no wrestlers in four of the 14 weight classes just as they had in December.
Rams who won both matches were seniors Jake Challen at 120, Dylan Forkner at 126 and Jeremy Scheuermann at 152, and junior Tommy Bradshaw at 138.
